Pannus is just another word for nothing left to lose

This picture I drew does not represent the state of my body.  I weigh 240 lbs currently, about 50 lbs too heavy for my 6'1" frame (maybe losing that much weight would leave me pretty scrawny, but around there).  My huge belly, my jowly fat-face, and my dangerously fatty liver hold this extra weight.

Discussed with a small Loved One about the idea of a "front butt", so I sketched this out.

I wanted to bring attention to the great atheist and erotic blogger Greta Christina, and her "dieting/not-dieting/healthy-living" experience

THE FAT-POSITIVE FEMINIST SKEPTICAL DIET, parts 1 thru 3

http://gretachristina.typepad.com/greta_christinas_weblog/2010/03/fatpositive-feminist-skeptical-diet-3-1.html

I had lost 15 pounds, just to gain it back.  Right now I am more interested in enhancing my intentionality with eating and enjoying being active everyday.  There is evidence that your weight is a function of the availability of tasty fats and carbs, and tasty empty calories, and very little to do with individual will power.  So enhancing my intentionality about what and how and how much I eat makes more sense to me.

Fatty Liver means my Babylove wants me to stop drinking beer

Bottles of Imperial StoutImage via Wikipedia
I am not a big drinker, which is good news for me, because my father was a heavy cigarette smoker and is still an alcoholic. I don't care for wine at all, and don't care for hard liquor. But I do enjoy a fine beer, especially English beers. Yummy! Dark beer, ales, spicy little microbrews, all good stuff. My limit is two beers at one sitting, because I am all about the taste, not getting buzzed.

My problem is that I am overweight, and I store my fat in my liver - so, FATTY LIVER OVERDRIVE, BABY! So my Babylove wants me to stop drinking beer, even though I average only about 3 beers a week. Even the fattiest of livers can metabolize 3 beers a week without breaking a sweat, but the Babylove has spoken.

Not really a problem. I enjoy a good ice water. My Babylove also has this strange idea about drinking body temperature water, how this is supposed to be HEALTHY HEALTH OVERDRIVE, BABY! No way I am drinking piss-warm water. Take away my beer, but leave me my ice cubes.

Matter of National Security! I ate the Terrorist Cookies!

I need excuses mainly for my constant snacking. I was diagnosed with a fatty liver, and with eating less, eating better, and exercise I have gone from an obese 255 pounds to 231 pounds (weighed myself yesterday). I am on my way down to 198 pounds (I may be fooling myself about being able to reach 198 pounds. I am 6'1", but the last time I was 198, I was a scrawny high schooler. Everyone else will be happy with something below 220).

But the lure of the snacks is strong. I am not sure why I bother with excuses, my Baby just lifts a hand to smack me when she catches me with crumbs around my mouth. I really don't get a chance to get a word in, before receiving the dope-smack to the head.
